This is the Nowa Nowa Guest House (also known as Jumping Fish Place - cos the fish really do jump).
Over the years we’ve had a steady stream of guests, who have been amazed at how beautiful the Lake Tyers region is. Some come for the Lake, some for the cycling, some just looking for a quiet place.
While the Lake Cabin (down the hilll a little) has been available (and much-loved) for many years, this bigger, group-friendly Guest House is now available for holiday rental too.
With 3 double bedrooms (all with en-suites) it’s fantastic for small groups who are travelling together – (or perhaps meeting up between Melbourne and Canberra, or Melbourne and Sydney.)
As a couple of art-loving adventurers ourselves (an artist and a writer), we hope to encourage a steady flow of travellers to Nowa Nowa – for the bike tracks, the canoeing, the walking, the art – or just the peace and quiet.
The Guest House offers 3 bedrooms, all with en-suites. It has 2 wood-fired heaters (with loads of firewood ready for use). We provide all your linen (nice crisp white cottons). And the kitchen is ready to go (with a brand new oven and fridge and all the stuff you need to feel right at home). The Guest House is all yours for $245 per night.
