The Nowa Nowa “Long Now” Games
Nowa Nowa’s a town of some substance,
With French wine and Petanque a real theme.
When the two things combine
It’s quite hard to define
If the Game is as tough as it seems.
The last play of the day’s nearly over,
After countless deft flicks of the wrist,
Many shots go awry,
You can understand why;
After spending three hours on the piste.
Tomorrow’s Petanque’s celebration,
Vin Rouge, Vin Blanc and Champagne,
The final we’ll play in a wine mist all day
Lets hope it won’t Boulewell rain.
